We have today played our interclub friendly match at home against Stoke-by-Nayland.
Although we had a few showers we were lucky the rain didn't amount to much.

The opposing Captain and his partner had not played Frinton before and they enjoyed our course very much. Our lunchtime meal was excellent and the Stoke team were impressed with the quality of the catering.

I am really pleased to announce that we won 5 1/2 : 2 1/2 and we are looking forward to playing at Stoke in August. Their Captain said they are hoping to get their revenge on us on the return match!!!

My grateful thanks to everyone who took part in the match today and supporting the raffle for my charity, Cancer Research UK, which raised £155.

Our next seniors' match is at home on Wednesday 22nd June against Five Lakes.
