The gents vied for the Courage Cup on Sunday, an 18-hole stableford medal with a maximum handicap of 24. The high winds made the going tough, but most of the players avoided getting drenched by the torrential rain that arrived just after noon. Rob Long won the Cup on count back with a nett score of 69, just ahead of Vince McAuley, who was once again on fine form. Three men finished with 71 nett, and Stuart Grimwade was awarded third place on count back.
