The Bank Holiday Monday saw the playing of the traditional event, the Bob Turner Foursomes, an 18-hole stableford with a maximum handicap limit of 24.
The day started sunny and warm, and the rain held off until play was completed. Ed Glease and David Partridge were way out in front with a fantastic score of 40 points. Chris Hemingway and Rob Long were a fine second place with 36 points. And 3 teams finished with 35 points, with Jake Wells and Neil Macrae-Smith pipping the others on count back to finish in third place.
