At Frinton GC, seventeen men played a Bogey/Par competition on Saturday in driving rain and windy conditions. The format is a match play event where the goal is to beat the course. Vice captain Simon Martin-Redman had a fine result at +4. Both Steve Mitchell and Wayne Ross scored +3, with Mitchell awarded second place on count back. All 3 men had their handicaps reduced, Martin-Redman by 2 shots.
