Frinton ladies and gents played in the Captainsí Swan Song greensomes event Sunday to usher out last yearís captains.
Kevin Maleary and Mark Smith won the menís prize with an impressive score of 42 stableford points.
It was an especially notable result considering the windy and wet conditions.
Gary Cook and Stephen Phillips were in 2nd place in the menís category with 37 points.
In the mixed groupings, Gavin Cowell and Caroline Grey won it with 36 points, whilst Toby and Donna Oliver were in second place with 35 points.

The ladies played a non-qualifying stableford on their day.
Diane Gerrard won it with 33 points.
Five ladies finished with 32 points.
Jan McLellan was awarded second place on count back, whilst Rosemary Rouse was third.

And finally Frinton ladies were victorious in their Silver Match against Langdon Hills at home, winning it 3 & 2.
