At Frinton, our junior members have unrivalled access to one of the leading golf acadamies in the region. Coastal Golf Academy is run by the same team responsible for the Club's Pro-Shop.
Founded in 2008 by PGA Professionals Tom Hide and Scott Rusbridge, their passion and connection to the Club is undoubted - having both been Assistant Professionals under former Head Professional Peter Taggart.
We believe that golf should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their age or ability and that’s why we have developed a progressive scheme that allows everyone to achieve.
Golf isn’t just about keeping fit and having fun, it helps to develop wider skills in children including perseverance in developing a complex skill, a competitive spirit, teamwork, resilience, control, commitment, dedication, hand-eye co-ordination, gross and fine motor skills, concentration, problem-solving and much more.
